Q: 2004 Infiniti G35 Sedan Tire Pressure Light?
I just bought 4 new tires for my G35 sedan and the tire pressure monitor light will randomly turn on (every 3 or 4 days after I've been driving 20+ minutes). Once I get home, I check the pressure and all of the tires are fine pressure-wise. I live in San Diego, CA, so I don't think that weather is really a factor.
Does anyone have any idea why the light comes on and if there's any way to fix it.
A: Double check you have the right pressure. NEVER use the pressure posted on the tire. That pressure is the maximum allowable pressure the tire can have. Inside the driver's door, the glove box, or under the fuel cap is where you will find a sticker that tells you your actual tire pressure. Tire companies don't always know what car their tires are going on so the tire is not a good indication which PSI to use. The weight of different cars effects the tires and which pressure to use.
Q: Which car would win in a race an automatic 2004 infiniti g35 or a manual 2007 Rx8?

A: Well the G35 goes from 0-60 in 5.7 seconds and the RX8 goes from 0-60 in about 6.5 seconds.
But i think the RX8 would win becuz if u think about it using automatic can be a big disadvantage in a race.
Not only that u have to explain whether it's 1/4 of a mile race or a circuit race etc.

I am looking to buy Infiniti g35 2004 awd. 30k miles, comes with extended warranty. The dealer has quoted 24k and i would probably cut the deal at 22k. Please give your opinion on this car.. how are the gas mileage/maintenance costs?
A: I have had an '04 G35X now with 45K miles, for 3 years. It's a great car overall. The gas mileage is ok-poor at best depending on how you drive it. In other words, if you don't accelerate too fast it gets OK gas mileage and if you gun it, it gets horrible gas mileage. Keep in mind the car goes from 0-60 in 6.3 seconds and I personally don't have the patience not to take advantage of the acceleration. Also, it is recomened to use premium fuel. The gas mileage on the G35 is relatively bad compared to other cars in it's class, but it's a faster car, so it is what it is.
As far as maintenance, the only problem I have had so far is my cd changer jamming. It had to be replaced (my car has the Clarion changer, not the Bose), but it was under warranty so there was no cost to me. However, even the new changer is starting to have problems so I would assume this is an ongoing problem that will likely be expensive to fix once the warranty is up. Otherwise, the car has been flawless.
The vehicle will likely be expensive to maintain after the 100K mileage mark once the warranty is up and it starts having real problems. But for now, it's cheap.

A: The important factor here is to stick with the fuel that is needed for the car,with anything in life if its been made to work with a certain product then that is what it needs.
Myself have driven Japanese cars for years and performance models.
Some people will say it will be fine and cause no problems yes the ecu will change to the new fuel but it doesn't mean it not causing harm .But with a decent car why risk putting the wrong fuel in,myself added a lower grade fuel to a car a few years ago i had nothing but trouble with it after.But a week back on higher grade it was running a lot better.
So yes you can run a car on lower fuel grade to save a few pennies,its your risk no matter what anyone says you ask 99% of performance car owners they will say go with what the book says.You may have no problems and enjoy the car for years or you could have car troubles and the pennies you have saved now are for the repairs.
So no matter what anyone says it's not there car or bills ,so again go with what is needed.If you are having trouble with fuel cost it maybe worth changing cars,its killing us atm with the fuel cost.

A: As said it is nothing to those engines,i have owned a good few high mileage Nissan's and one was a 230000 and still ran like new when i sold it.
