Q: How can I fix the 2003 Infiniti G35 brake problem?
I'm looking at a 03 G35 and i've read up on them and heard a lot about brake problems. If i buy a brake kit from Brembo or Greddy would this fix the problem?
A: The only "problem" I've seen on the G35 Infiniti related to the brakes is the lip that builds up on the outer edge of the front rotors. The lip forms because of the soft metal composition used in the rotors.
Try after market Chinese rotors which I have never had a problem with. Make sure you buy the more expensive brake pads, ask for ones that don't make noise.
Brembo rotors cost over $800 each and I've never priced the calipers.
Now that could be called a problem!

A: Every car is different. The "life expectation" will be different on every G35 depending on how well the car was maintained, quality and quantity of servicing, car history, etc... this is not something you can get a cut and dry answer on. You cant even get an estimate considering the car is only 6 years old. If you are talking about a '80 infiniti then you can get an estimate of mileage before the engines in the vehicles blew, but this would only be if all vehicles were driven the same, cared for the same, used in the same geographical location (ex mountainous, weather conditions, etc...). There is no way to provide a reasonable expectation, and if anyone tries they would be telling you stories.
Q: What's the 2003 Infiniti G35 *Sport*?
I've seen a few '03 G35 *sedans* as "G35 Sport", or "G35 Sport Package". What does this mean in a sedan?

A: Yeah the sport package just means that's there's more options then the regular sedan or coupe version

Q: I just bought a 2003 Infiniti G35 Sedan. I have a few questions.?

1. What is the max speed of the car? (I always like to know this stat, even though I sure as heck won't be nearing the top speed).
2. How many miles per gallon does this car get?
3. Any experiences with this car? Is it a good car? Do you like this car? Any advice concerning this car? Anything I should I know?

A: The mpg of it is 19 city/24 highway, maybe a few mpg less if its an X. The top speed of the car is around 145 mph and the 0-60 time is 6.2 seconds. My friend's dad has one, sounds nice (engine and stereo) and has plenty of power.
Q: I need to program a Keyless Entry for a 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe. Know where I can get free instructions?
A: 1. Close and lock all doors with the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch.
2. Insert key into ignition and remove it from the ignition key cylinder at least six times within 10 seconds. Your Hazard Lamps will flash if you have performed this step successfully. ( Withdraw key completely from ignition cylinder each time ) . If this procedure is performed too fast, system will not enter programming mode.
3. Insert key into the ignition cylinder and turn to the ACC position.
4. Within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the keyless remote. Your Hazard Lamps should flash. ( Do not press the button more than one time in the above step). If the button is pressed more than one time, the programming procedure will not be successful.
5. If there are any remaining remotes (including the old ones), unlock then lock all doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch and within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the next remote. Your Hazard Lamps should flash. Repeat this step for each keyless remote (including any existing keyless remotes).
6. Turn the key to the OFF position, remove keys from the ignition, unlock doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch and open the driver side door.

A: I WOULD CONSIDER REPAIR COST, MAINTENANCE AND INSURANCE BEFORE RACING AND BOTH VEHICLES ARE GOING ON 5 YEARS OLD ALREADY.
Q: I have a 2003 Infiniti G35. Can someone explain to me how to use the + - part of the gear shift?
It's automatic not manual. I don't know what the + - is for. It's kinda hard to see but it's on the right side.

A: u basicly switch the gears by urself by just pushing up, you go up a gear, and down, to go down a gear..just if you go down a gear, make sure you are in LOW rpm's, or you will redline the engine ( not good at all ).. you dont need to pull it down if u have a red light..once you stop, the transmission will go back to first gear..and on a green light, you go, and once it gets to whatever rpm you want , you push it up...and if you dont wana use the manual mode, just simply slide it over back to D..no button pushing is necessary btw...

i was thinking about buy either one of these cars. how does these cars compare??? such as maintenace fees, which is faster, which have the better engine etc... I need all the help i can get thanks!!!
A: G35 is better in most ways except the sedan's depreciated quite fast. Both Infinit and BMW have average reliability and cost more to maintain then Honda/Ford type brands for parts/labor. The G35 is slightly larger, more comfortable, more powerful, faster and about as good looking as the 325. The BMW/Infiniti are compact/midsize cars, and get an EPA 17/25mpg and 17/24mpg, the Infiniti puts off more air pollution. www.fueleconomy.gov The G35 has 260 HP/Torque, the 325 has 184/175 HP/Torque and weigh 200 pounds less. I'd go with the Infiniti as its spec's beat BMW across the board and the price is the same.
