Q: Do I need to replace the struts on my 2002 Infiniti G20?
My car was pulling to the right; so I took it in for an alignment. They aligned the front, but they said the rear was still out of alignment and could not further aligned (the car is still pulling to the right, but not quite as badly). The mechanic suggested that the struts were probably bad, which was causing the car to be out of alignment. Does this sound feasible? My car has 64,000 miles on it, and I plan on keeping it as long as possible. Is getting new struts advisable? Thanks!

A: Sounds like you should take it to another shop and get a second opinion. Ask around and find a reputable shop, take it in and tell them it was previously aligned but still pulls, ask them to take a look and see if anything needs replacing. For the struts to be causing the car to be out of alignment the would have to be bent, seriously damaged, or seriously worn, not the kind of worn a 64k Infiniti has either, worn like a 1986 yugo with 300k mile worn. Good luck, get a second opinion struts are not a cheap replacement.

A: I bought this car used for my wife to drive, but whenever I can I take it for a joy ride.It handles magnificently on the highways and is just fantastic on winding roads. The overall quality built into every component in this sporty machine is supurb. Example,very high quality carpet material used for the floor mats. I also love the Bose sound system, again top quality stuff. The Infiniti powertrain warranty is another great feature also, although I have had no need to use it, knowing it is covering the powertrain system up to 70,000 miles is comforting. This car has a great sporty look both inside and out.I really can't find any faults with our Infinity G-20. We both love our G-20!!!!!!!!!

I am the owner of a 2002 Infiniti G20 with 95,000 miles. My car runs perfect in the warm summer months. In the winter, it's a different story. My car bucks in cold weather, but gets better as it warms up. I don't know much about cars. Is there an easy fix for this - besides letting it run for 20 min prior to driving? I'm stumped. Expensive fix?

A: Personally I like the Acura TLs better. For one, the Lexus IS 250 seems a bit small. But of course a Lexus is a Lexus. Try looking at their specs. Are they nearly the same price? Because when I last looked for a TL I saw that it comes with a sunroof and nav. system. Reconsider the TL, I believe it has more room and a bit more luxury to it. Good Luck!
